Job summary

CooperRiis, Inc. in Mill Spring, NC is seeking an Occupational Therapist for full or part time work within our integrative recovery program.

You will be part of the resident’s recovery team, collaborating with the Clinical Director, psychiatrist, nursing, and residential teams to deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services. The role emphasizes program development, ongoing assessment, and service delivery in a therapeutic healing community.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current NC occupational therapy license is required.
• At least 2 years of occupational therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply evidence-based modalities in a relationship-oriented, strength-based approach.
• Contribute to Seven Domains Recovery Plan development and implementation.
• Provide individual sessions with residents or community members by referral.
• Create, implement, facilitate, and document occupational therapy groups.
• Complete appropriate assessments and document findings.
• Provide occupational therapy consultation and staff training.

Occupational Therapist- Full or Part Time

The Occupational Therapist provides high-quality, evidence-based clinical services to residents. You will be a member of the of the resident’s recovery team and work closely with the Recovery Coordinator, Clinical Director, Psychiatrist, Nursing Department, and Residential team to ensure a whole-person, integrative care. The position is a core member of the Farm Autism Program Staff and involved in program development, on-going assessment, and service delivery.

Location: Mill Spring, NC

Schedule:

• Full-time: 30 hours per week

• Part-time: 24 hours per week

Pay:

• Starting at $32.50 per hour and increases based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Works from a relationship-oriented and strength-based approach utilizing evidence-based modalities
• Works alongside the integrative recovery team with the development and implementation of an individualized Seven Domains Recovery Plan: psychological, spiritual, relational, addiction, vocational, and familial challenges
• Provides individual sessions with residents or community members by referral
• Creates curriculum, implements, facilitates, and documents occupational therapy groups
• Completes appropriate assessments
• Provides occupational therapy consultation and training to staff

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and current NC license
• At least 2 years of experience providing Occupational Therapy
• Experience working with adults who are coping with mental health challenges
