Job summary

Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time role in San Antonio, TX. The PT provides therapy services to improve health, reduce costs, and support aging populations in the community. A $5,000 sign-on bonus or relocation option is available.

Responsibilities include patient evaluation, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Qualified candidates hold an OT degree and current Texas OT licensure, with strong communication

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Occupational Therapy.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of current practice.
• Must have good communication skills and be able to relate professionally and positively to patients, patients’ family members, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Screens, evaluates, and treats patients.
• Completes a comprehensive evaluation using appropriate evaluation and assessment tools and procedures.
• Reviews patient records for current diagnoses, past medical history, precautions and contraindications.
• Establishes measurable goals and develops treatment plan to move the patient toward maximum independence and function.
• Supervises Occupational Therapist Assistants and rehab techs in direct patient care and patient-related activities in accordance with state practice act.
• Interprets and communicates evaluation findings and treatment program to patients, family, and other team members.
