Pivot Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to screen, evaluate, and treat patients across our care continuum in Port Arthur, TX. The OT will develop comprehensive treatment plans, review records, and establish measurable goals to maximize patient independence while supervising assistants and rehab staff as needed.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited School of Occupational Therapy.
Current licensure as an OT in the practicing state.
Excellent communication and professional interaction with patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

Screens, evaluates, and treats patients.
Completes comprehensive evaluations using standard tools and procedures.
Reviews patient records for diagnoses, history, precautions and contraindications.
Establishes goals and treatment plans for independence.
Supervises OTAs and rehab techs in patient care per state act.
Interprets and communicates evaluation findings to patients and team.
