Job summary

Renewal Rehab in Michigan is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide comprehensive evaluations and therapy services. The role requires NBCOT certification and an active state license in good standing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., MA, or MS or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy recognized by AOTA.
• NBCOT designation as OTR (if state mandated).
• OT holds a current license/registration in-state as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive occupational therapy evaluation based on MD orders.
• Document findings on the standardized evaluation form timely, accurately and adhering to guidelines.
• Provide a comprehensive treatment plan including long and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for evaluations, treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Provide comprehensive patient treatment utilizing modalities and modify treatment as indicated while adhering to precautions.
