Job summary

Avery's House LLC, located in Fountain Hills, Arizona, is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist for part-time, in-person work. The role focuses on functional behavior assessment, sensory strategies, and daily living skills coaching with neurodivergent clients.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, provide group and individual therapy, and collaborate with residential staff. A valid AZ OT license and CPR/First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• Arizona driver’s license current and in good standing.
• CPR/First Aid certification current.
• Finger Print Clearance Card current and valid; in-process accepted if new application.
• Preferred experience: 1 year in a behavioral healthcare setting.
• Current license from the Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive functional behavior and neuro-affirming sensory profiles.
• Develop collaborative, strengths-based Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs).
• Provide individual and group therapy focused on daily living skills (ADLs/IADLs).
• Educate on self-care, cooking, budgeting, laundry and community navigation.
• Implement sensory integration strategies to support emotional regulation and distress tolerance.
• Co-facilitate neuro-affirming social connections and community-building groups.
