Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess clients and design therapy programs in a post-acute, long-term care, or home health setting at the Auburn facility. You will evaluate physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities, set realistic goals, document progress, educate clients and families, and collaborate with care teams to improve functional outcomes.

Licensed in the state(s) of practice, NBCOT certification, and BLS are required or pursued; driving may be needed; salary

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as Occupational Therapist.
• NBCOT certification preferred for Sanford Health facilities.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients/patients/residents and design occupational therapy treatments.
• Evaluate physical, cognitive, developmental and psychosocial abilities.
• Document information for evaluation and establish therapeutic plans.
