Job summary

Good Samaritan in Auburn, NE is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist for a part-time, day-shift role (20 hours weekly). The position supports residents with rehabilitation needs in a warm, faith-based setting.

The OT will assess and design treatments, help residents regain daily living skills, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team including PTA, COTA, and SLP. Licensure and NBCOT/BLS credentials are required or pursued, with competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Licensure as Occupational Therapist in the practicing state.
• NBCOT certification preferred; valid driver license may be required.
• BLS for healthcare providers required or within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients and design occupational therapy treatments.
• Help clients develop, maintain and recover daily living skills.
• Evaluate physical, cognitive, developmental and psychosocial abilities; set goals and plans.
• Document client information for evaluation and treatment planning; ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and provide education to peers as needed.
