Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist to work in-facility, delivering comprehensive OT assessments, treatment plans, and therapy sessions. The role reports to the Director of Rehab and emphasizes patient-centered recovery to help individuals regain independence.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, educate patients and caregivers, and contribute to a supportive care pathway across skilled nursing, outpatient, and home-based settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• The Occupational Therapist must hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, develop recovery plans, and deliver occupational therapy.
• Provide patient education to promote independence and caregiver training as needed.
• Collaborate with the rehab team and refer to additional services to support patient goals.
• Report to the Director of Rehab and contribute to care coordination within the facility.

Education
