Responsibilities

• Designs an appropriate plan of care integrating goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge plan.
• Educates patients, families, caregivers, and other health care providers.
• Performs examinations and selects appropriate assessment methods.
• Monitors and documents progress and adjusts treatment as needed.
• Supervises COTA and rehabilitation staff where applicable.
• Communicates discharge recommendations and equipment needs to medical team.
