HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver evidence-based therapy and guide patient recovery. You’ll assess needs, develop plans with physicians, and provide hands-on treatment across the care continuum.

Role requires Florida OT license, BLS, and FIM; collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential, as is a patient-centered communication approach and commitment to excellence.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy; Masters preferred.
• Experience in appropriate healthcare setting preferred.
• Current Florida Occupational Therapist license.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) through AHA.
• Current FIM (Functional Independence Measure) required (within 90 days of hire).
• Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills; ability to read/comprehend written instructions; ability to follow verbal instructions; PC skills.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate patient functional abilities and needs; develop individualized therapy plans with physicians and care team.
• Deliver skilled, evidence-based interventions promoting healing and independence.
• Monitor patient progress; adjust plans; ensure thorough documentation.
• Educate patients and families to build understanding and engagement.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners to ensure safe transitions and exceptional experiences.
• Lead by example; guide therapy assistants or students; uphold HCA mission and values.
