Job summary

Cadia Healthcare Broadmeadow in Middletown, DE is seeking an Occupational Therapist to administer screenings and comprehensive evaluations, develop skilled plans of care to restore or maintain function, and promote the highest level of mobility and quality of life.

Responsibilities include documentation, standardized tests, and OT assessments for dementia and perceptual/visual concerns, with treatment adjustments to maximize benefit. Active OT license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in this state.
• Must have current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer screenings & comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Complete all essential documentation & forms accurately & efficiently, as required by law & facility regulations.
• Administer standardized tests/measures (ACL, Barthel Index, Functional Reach Test, Function in Sitting Test, etc.) for each evaluation and periodically for regulatory compliance.
• Provide OT assessments/services for patients with dementia, attention, memory, and complex ADL cognitive tasks.
• Test and measure pain, strength, ROM, motor abilities, sensory perception, functional capacity and document findings.
