Job summary

Progressive Rehab in Palestine, TX is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate, plan, and implement therapy programs for patients in long-term care settings. You will assess ADLs/IADLs, develop individualized treatment plans, and educate patients and families.

You will supervise COTAs and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to coordinate care while documenting progress and outcomes. A Texas license and OT degree are required, with some travel involved.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate of OT from an accredited program (required).
• Current state licensure to practice Occupational Therapy (required).
• Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and functional abilities using assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and regulatory requirements.
