Job summary

Holland Village is actively seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services, evaluating and treating residents with impaired activities of daily living due to disease processes. The OT will document care and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings with the goal of maintaining resident independence.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals. Ability to present information to supervisor.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Must have at least two years of related experience
• Must have a current Occupational Therapist license

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to evaluate, treat, document, and/or facilitate care for residents with impaired activities of daily living due to disease process.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings as required.
• Assist the Director of Nursing Service to develop ADL decline prevention policies and procedures.
