Job summary

Soar Autism Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide developmentally appropriate OT for children aged 2–6 within a center-based early intervention setting. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support motor, sensory, feeding, and daily living skills, leveraging ES DM-informed practices.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy is required or eligible for licensure based on a Bachelor’s degree.
• Current license to practice occupational therapy is required.
• Experience working with children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate occupational therapy for children ages 2–6.
• Develop individualized interventions addressing fine and gross motor skills, feeding, sensory needs, and activities of daily living.
• Conduct assessments and develop coordinated treatment plans with SLPs, BCBAs, psychologists, and other clinicians.
• Integrate occupational therapy goals into ESDM-informed early intervention approach.
• Support children with autism through naturalistic, engaging, individualized treatment.
• Collaborate with families to set meaningful goals and practical strategies for outside therapy.
• Coordinate reinforcement of goals with RBTs and other clinicians throughout the day.
• Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans based on data and clinical judgment.
