Job summary

Sidney Regional Medical Center in Sidney, Nebraska, is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our Rehabilitation department. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT or COTA program.
• Nebraska license as OT or COTA is required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct, motivate, and assist patient to perform functional activities and exercises per protocol.
• Review referrals and records to determine treatment; assess strength, motor, cognition, ADLs.
• Record treatment and progress in charts; ensure orders are carried out accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to adjust treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Plan and conduct lectures and training on occupational therapy topics for staff and community.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by management.

Education
