Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Sidney, Iowa team on a permanent, full-time basis. The position offers a predictable Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend rotation, enabling a balanced clinical career and personal time.

You'll work with patients to improve independence and quality of life, under supervision, in a collaborative interdisciplinary team. New graduates are welcome and compensation aligns with experience.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Appropriate Iowa licensure or eligibility for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Assist patients with improving independence in activities of daily living and functional tasks.
• Lead therapeutic activities designed to improve strength, coordination, mobility, balance, and functional performance.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate observations to the supervising OT and care team.
• Document treatments, patient responses, and progress accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive strategies, and safety.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and encouraging treatment environment.
• Follow all applicable clinical standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements.
