Job summary

Performance Pediatrics is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. You will meet with multiple patients daily, discuss treatment needs and goals, and craft customized therapy plans tailored to mobility and daily living tasks.

You will collaborate with other health team members to coordinate follow-up care, educate patients on lifestyle changes, and provide a supportive, compassionate presence throughout the recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Must hold the required state license for occupational therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• The ability to stay positive and compassionate over a long period of time with patients.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients from many different backgrounds and compassionately discuss their health concerns and therapy needs.
• Conduct evaluations to determine a starting point for each patient.
• Create a therapy plan specific to each patient that will help them meet their mobility goals.
• Work closely with other members of each patient’s care team to provide adequate follow-up care.
• Maintain excellent records of patient therapy and progress.
