Job summary

MedQuest Health Services, Inc. is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team. You will meet with multiple patients daily, discuss their treatment needs and goals, and craft customized therapy plans to improve mobility and daily living skills.

You will collaborate with other health professionals to arrange follow-up care, educate patients on lifestyle changes, and maintain accurate records while staying positive and compassionate across many cases.

Qualifications

• Must hold the required state license for occupational therapy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good attention to detail
• The ability to stay positive and compassionate over a long period of time with patients

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients from many different backgrounds and discuss their health concerns and therapy needs
• Conduct evaluations to determine a starting point for each patient
• Create a therapy plan specific to each patient that will help them meet their mobility goals
• Work closely with other members of each patient’s care team to provide adequate follow-up care
• Maintain excellent records of patient therapy and progress
