Job summary

Soddy-Daisy Healthcare Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver individualized OT services, assess patients, develop treatment plans, and oversee assistants in a collaborative, supportive setting.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to improve residents’ independence, safety, and quality of life while following applicable regulations and maintaining clinical expertise.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Valid state Occupational Therapist license, where applicable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of Rehabilitation.
• Optimize patient functionality by providing, directing, and supervising OT services.
• Document accurately and timely per state/federal guidelines.
• Maintain patient-centered interactions with patients and staff.
• Supervise OT assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary activities.
• Develop and enhance OT programs and services for quality outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and patient rights policies.
• Maintain licensure and adhere to payment guidelines.
