Job summary

Timberwood Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our in-house therapy team. This post-acute care facility provides long-term, short-term, and geriatric outpatient services with opportunities to influence facility-level decisions and work under strong leadership.

Qualifications

Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license required.
Open to Occupational Therapists of all experience levels, including new graduates.
H-1B visa transfer candidates are welcome to apply.
Licensure fee assistance available for qualified out-of-state candidates.

Responsibilities

Screens/evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL disorders and develop care plans.
Uses standardized assessments to support clinical interventions.
Provides rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment.
Administers ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities and devices.
Monitors progress and updates clinical records; adjusts treatments as needed.
Assesses outcomes and refers as appropriate based on results.
Provides counseling to patients and families about physical disorders.
Communicates progress with supervisor and health team members.
Delivers comprehensive discharge summaries per requirements.
