You will provide rehabilitative services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist in a post-acute setting, focusing on cognitive and physical functioning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• All levels of experience are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and devices.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments with supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Report treatment outcomes to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Timberwood Nursing & Rehab Center is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We are seeking a dedicated Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant ready to make a meaningful impact. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Qualifications:
