Job summary

The Highlands at Owasso is seeking a Part-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide geriatric therapy in a long-term care setting, with caseloads based on need.

You will collaborate with a clinical team, deliver treatment plans, educate patients and caregivers, and ensure accurate documentation and transition planning.

Oklahoma licensed OTA in good standing required; prior long-term care experience preferred; strong communication skills essential.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Current license in the State of Oklahoma in good standing
• Experience in long-term healthcare preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed, both verbal and written documentation.

POSITION DUTIES

• Responsible for performing therapy treatments and functions for skilled nursing patients.
• Provide treatment plans that allow your patients to reach their maximum potential or for successful transition to next level of care.
• Work with other therapists and nursing staff to help provide a cohesive quality of care between the clinical needs and therapy needs.
• Be able to educate patients and care givers to be able to success at home after discharge from facility.
• Provide quality documentation as required.
