Job summary

Key Rehab seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our SNF team. The role can be full-time, part-time, or PRN and requires strong collaboration with OT and PT to carry out care plans.

We value compassionate, patient-focused therapy and offer flexible scheduling to fit personal needs. Ideal candidates will have an accredited OTA program background and an active COTA license, plus at least one year in the field.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited OTA program required.
  • Active COTA license in the state of practice required.
  • Minimum of 1 year in the OTA field preferred.
  • Compliance with Key Rehab’s Code of Ethical Conduct and applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Implement care plans as directed by the OT.
  • Advance patient progress through treatment plans with PT guidance.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.

Responsibilities
  • Implement Care Plans: Execute the patient care plan developed by the Occupational Therapist (OT), ensuring adherence to established protocols.
  • Advance Patient Progress: Facilitate patient advancement through their treatment plan, making adjustments as directed by the PT to optimize outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team: Work closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate and enhance patient care, ensuring the achievement of individual goals.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
  • Accredited Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program with an active COTA license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 1 year in the field in a related role.
  • Compliance: Adhere to Key Rehab’s Code of Ethical Conduct and all relevant state and federal regulations.

  • Knowledge of Medicare Billing Regulations: Familiarity with current Medicare billing practices and guidelines.
