Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy in Marysville, CA is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support the Occupational Therapist in acute care. You will assist with development deficits, ADLs, work conditioning, ROM, balance, cognition, and exercise programs to restore function and increase strength.

Under licensed supervision, you will build relationships with patients, contribute to care plans, and participate in community outreach.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE approved occupational therapist assistant program.
• State Licensure.
• Basic Life Support Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients.
• Establish strong relationships with each patient so that they have ability to exceed their functional goals.
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patient, fellow clinicians, and other team members.
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the community.

Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant assists the Occupational Therapist in the practice of occupational therapy to include development deficits, activities of daily living work conditioning, range of motion, coordination, balance endurance, cognition, and exercise programs to restore function and increase strength.

Compensation
