Job summary

PT Solutions is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support an Occupational Therapist in acute care, addressing development deficits, ADLs, ROM, coordination, balance, cognition, and exercise programs to restore function and increase strength.

In collaboration with Adventist Health Rideout, PT Solutions offers professional development and opportunities for advancement, with a focus on evidence-based practice and community impact.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE approved occupational therapy assistant program.
• Current state licensure as an OTA (or eligible).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients.
• Establish strong relationships with each patient so they can work toward and exceed functional goals.
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patient, fellow clinicians, and other team members.
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the community.

Job description

Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant assists the Occupational Therapist in the practice of occupational therapy to include development deficits, activities of daily living work conditioning, range of motion, coordination, balance endurance, cognition, and exercise programs to restore function and increase strength.

Compensation
