Qualifications

• Completion of an Associate Degree from an accredited OTA program.
• 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience preferred
• Knowledge of Acute Care required
• AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required

Responsibilities

• The Occupational Therapist Assistant specializing in Acute Care works under the direct supervision of the Team Coordinator and Clinical Specialist, and leadership of the Rehab Therapy Services Inpatient Manager.
• Uses objective evaluation techniques to assess the occupational limitations and medical condition of patients.
• Prescribes and implements a treatment program designed to return patients to their maximum level of function.
• Works collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary health care team to maximize patient and team outcomes.
• Promotes improvement in service, department and hospital systems to benefit patient care.

General Summary

• The Occupational Therapist Assistant specializing in Acute Care
• Works under the direct supervision of the Team Coordinator and/or Clinical Specialist, and leadership of the Rehab Therapy Services Inpatient Manager

• Incorporates and operationalizes the goals and objectives of the organization

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of an Associates Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program
• 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience preferred
• Knowledge of Acute Care required
• Successful completion of clinical internships as required by the academic program
• Current State licensure as an Occupational Therapist required
• AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required

Shift

Full-time - Monday to Friday, with some weekends and holidays

Salary Range

Minimum $26.58/hour – Maximum $43.89/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
