Contract Details: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• - Assist the Occupational Therapist in evaluating and treating patients with physical, emotional, or developmental impairments
• - Help patients with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, and eating
• - Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices
• - Monitor patients' progress and document their treatment plans
• - Communicate with the Occupational Therapist and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
• - Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients and their families
• - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• - Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans
• - Adhere to all safety and infection control procedures

Requirements:

• - Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• - Valid Occupational Therapist Assistant license in the state of Kansas
• - Previous experience in a SNF or rehabilitation setting preferred
