Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to work under an OT's supervision in Racine, WI. You will support development deficits, ADLs, and strengthening programs to restore function and mobility.

The role emphasizes building strong patient relationships, collaborating with clinicians, and community outreach to improve access to quality care. APTA/CAPTE education, state licensure, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE approved occupational therapy assistant program.
• State Licensure is required to practice.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment for treatment and assist an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities.
• Establish strong relationships with each patient to support functional goals.
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, clinicians, and team members.
• Build and maintain relationships within the community.

Job Overview & Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant assists the Occupational Therapist in the practice of occupational therapy to include development deficits, activities of daily living work conditioning, range of motion, coordination, balance endurance, cognition, and exercise programs to restore function and increase strength.

• Build and maintain relationships throughout the community

Qualifications & Pay Range

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE approved occupational therapist assistant program
• State Licensure
• Basic Life Support Certification via the American Heart Association

Compensation & Bonus Structure

• Base Salary: $25.00-$33.00/year (based on experience and market factors)
• Monthly Incentive Bonuses for exceeding daily visit thresholds
