McLaren Health Care in Michigan seeks an Occupational Therapist Assistant to support licensed therapists in delivering patient-centered care. You will implement components of the therapeutic interventions, collect data, and adjust plans to progress the patient safely.
You will coordinate discharge planning, supervise ancillary staff as allowed, and ensure documentation meets department and insurance requirements. Schedule: full-time, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; on-site work.

Works under the direction and supervision of the occupational therapist. The occupational therapist assistant implements selected components of the therapeutic interventions and activities of daily living, obtains data related to the interventions provided, and makes modifications in selected interventions either to progress the patient as directed by the occupational therapist or to ensure patient’s safety and comfort. This may include adaptation or modification of the environment or objects within the environment to facilitate engagement and participation.
