Job summary

Oak Hill Village is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for residents with impaired activities of daily living due to disease. The OT will evaluate, treat, document, and facilitate care, and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.

The role supports the Director of Nursing by helping develop ADL decline prevention policies and procedures, and requires strong communication and collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare

Qualifications

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with residents, their families and other healthcare professionals.
• Ability to present information to supervisor.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Must have a current Occupational Therapist license

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to evaluate, treat, document, and facilitate care for residents with impaired activities of daily living due to disease process.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings as required; assist the Director of Nursing Service to develop ADL decline prevention policies and procedures.
