Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapist for the Saline Memorial Hospital acute rehabilitation unit in Benton, AR. This full-time role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates and involves delivering hands-on therapy to help patients regain independence.

You will evaluate daily living activities, develop care plans, document outcomes, and collaborate with care teams to ensure high-quality, compliant care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• State licensure for Occupational Therapy is required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' ability to safely perform daily tasks and create personalized care plans.
• Deliver hands-on treatment using therapeutic techniques and adaptive modalities.
• Track and document each patient's journey through measurable outcomes.
• Continuously reassess and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with colleagues.
• Educate patients and caregivers on functional deficits and home safety.
• Support discharge planning by recommending adaptive equipment and resources.
• Provide supervision and delegation to OT assistants and techs.
