Crisp Regional Health Services in Georgia seeks an Occupational Therapist to join a collaborative interdisciplinary team providing high-quality patient care in acute and skilled nursing settings.

The OT will develop treatment plans, supervise COTA, and educate patients and families on lifestyle changes and self-management. Commitment to safety, documentation, and ongoing professional development is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
• Current state license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsabilités

• Develops and administers occupational therapy programs and treatments for patients in acute care and skilled nursing facility settings.
• Directs plan of care of patients with COTA; supervises COTA and educates patients/families regarding lifestyle changes, self-management, and ADLs; educates staff regarding plan of care.
• Performs initial and discharge evaluations, sets goals and treatment plan and documents accordingly.
• Develops treatment plan and performs optimal treatment to meet functional goals.
• Communicates with manager and other health care interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, problems or plans.
• Records daily treatment notes and other required documentation timely and completely.
• Records treatment charges daily and completes charge tickets accurately and timely.
• Meets production requirements for occupational therapy rendered as defined by the organization.
• Complies with the Georgia State Occupational Therapy Practice Act.
• Assumes responsibility for safety, infection control and performance improvement as part of CRHS’s efforts to provide quality care and services.
• Presents a professional image to CRHS staff, patients, families, and visitors.
• Attends professional development programs and continuing education as required.
