Job summary

Loyola Medicine, a Trinity Health system in Chicago's western suburbs, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate patients and develop OT programs for inpatients and outpatients. The role includes education, discharge planning, and supervising staff and students.

Schedule is Mon–Fri 8:00–4:30 with rotating weekends and limited holiday coverage; benefits from day one, tuition reimbursement, and a strong team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• IL licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• 1–3 years of job-related experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and plans an OT program for inpatients and/or outpatients with diverse diagnoses.
• Provides patient education, discharge planning, and supervises staff and students.
• Contributes to the growth of Occupational Therapy services by developing new programs and educating others about occupational therapy.

What you'll do:

• Evaluates patients, plans and implements an effective Occupational Therapy program based upon assessment, clinical judgement, and psychological sensitivity for inpatients and/or outpatients with diverse diagnoses. Provides patient education, consultation and discharge planning, supervises and delegates patient care to Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants, Rehab Technicians and Occupational Therapy Students. Contributes to the growth of Occupational Therapy services by assisting with the development of new programs and educating others about occupational therapy.

Compensation :

Pay Range: $32.90-57.06

Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
