Provides care for inpatient oncology caseload. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary treatment team regarding the needs of the patient. Position includes opportunities to contribute to presentations, publications, supervision of students/interns, and execution of departmental education efforts, etc. which will contribute to advancement in a clinical ladder.Job DutiesPerform patient evaluation and treatment according to physical therapy practice act.Complete evaluations and treatments of assigned patients in accordance to established standards of care and practice including selecting assessment tools, tests and measures, goal setting, etc.Monitors and responds to the patient's response to treatment and adjusts accordingly, reassessing the patient as needed or at least every 2 weeks, and discharging the patient in a timely manner dependent on the needs of the patient.Collaborates and communicates with the interdisciplinary team members regarding patient status and discharge planning.Perform screenings for appropriate patients.Accurately document patient evaluation and treatment information in the electronic health recordAssist with supervision and onboardingAccurately performs documentation on each evaluation and treatment session within the electronic medical record and accurately documents billing charges.Documents evaluations and daily treatment sessions accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record immediately upon completion of sessionAccurately completes charge sheets billing within Medicare guidelines and performs live documentation for all patients with no more than 2 billing errors per month.Required Credentials:OT - Occupational Therapist *Temporary Florida license expected. Must pass licensing exam within 90 days of hire to continue employment.Bachelor's DegreeOccupational TherapyOne year of clinical experience preferred. Clinical experience in an acute care hospital during OT school will be accepted.Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pmSalary Range$80,974.40 - $123,364.80Salary ranges posted for this position represent the expected base pay range for the role.
