Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to deliver direct and indirect services, including assessment, intervention, program planning and implementation, and discharge planning.

The OTR remains responsible for service provision and adheres to AOTA ethics and practice standards. Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) and must obtain Washington state OT licensure and BLS through the American Heart

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy or a comparable accredited credential.
  • Upon hire: Washington Occupational Therapist License.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services including assessment, intervention, program planning and implementation.
  • Conduct discharge planning and related documentation; communicate findings with care teams.
  • Ensure professional practice aligns with the AOTA Code of Ethics and standards.
  • Collaborate with patients, families and other professionals to optimize outcomes.

This position provides direct and indirect occupational therapy services including assessment, intervention, program planning and implementation, discharge planning, related documentation and communication. Service delivery may include direct, monitored and consultative approaches. OTR practitioners advance along a continuum from entry to advanced level based on experience, education and practice skills. The OTR has the ultimate responsibility for service provision. Functions according to the AOTA Code of Ethics and standards of the profession.

Required Qualifications:
