Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to deliver skilled therapy services within an acute care setting, handling ortho, neuro, general medicine, and ICU caseloads.

You will educate patients and families, collaborate with healthcare teams, develop discharge-focused treatment plans, delegate tasks, and maintain thorough documentation to support safe, effective care and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in OT required; Master’s preferred.
• Licensed OT eligible/active license required.
• No prior experience required, but supervision experience is not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Establishes treatment plans considering discharge needs, functional status, and required equipment.
• Educates patients, families, and healthcare providers, making referrals as needed.
• Delegates tasks to assistants, techs, and students based on competency.
• Completes documentation per departmental policies.
• Provides assessments, reassessments, and consultations for OT services.
• Conduct evaluations and implement treatment plans.

• Completes documentation in line with departmental policies.
• Provides assessments, reassessments, and consultations for occupational therapy services.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master’s preferred.
• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
