Job summary

Pate Rehabilitation, an affiliate of Rehab Without Walls, is hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) at our Irving, TX location. This full-time role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and the opportunity to help patients regain independence through individualized, patient-centered care.

You will develop treatment plans, set realistic goals, supervise OT staff, and educate patients and families about OT services while supporting discharge planning and home modification needs in a supportive

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution or equivalent with a certification
• Current Texas OT license
• Current CPR certification
• Must pass all pre-employment verifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement goal-directed treatment plans for assigned patients using evaluation and physician orders
• Establish realistic functional goals based on patient and discharge plan
• Supervise OT aides, rehab technicians, OT students and OTA students on a routine basis
• Educate patients and caregivers on OT services, procedures and goals
• Prepare for client discharge with home modifications and equipment recommendations
• Maintain knowledge of OT Practice Act and Code of Ethics
• Perform other duties as assigned
