Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Midland Odessa in Texas is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver direct OT services to patients in inpatient rehabilitation, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalized care plans and monitor progress.

You will supervise treatments, assess outcomes, build meaningful patient relationships, and celebrate progress as patients regain independence.

Qualifications

• State licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification required.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and addressing patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by understanding physical, mental, and emotional needs for recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
