Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Midland Odessa is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care, develop individualized care plans, and guide rehabilitation with a team-oriented approach.

You will supervise treatments, assess patients, and contribute to meaningful recovery outcomes, while building strong patient relationships and celebrating progress along the way.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand your physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
