Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (can be provided by Mercy after starting).
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• Preferred: National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs to achieve maximum potential within state practice act and governing rules.
• Promotes growth and development of the department by coordinating activities in patient care programs.
