Job summary

EJ Therapy Services in Wooster, Ohio is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our pediatric team for school-based services in Wooster and Mansfield. This full-time position focuses on assessments, therapy plan development, and collaboration with educators and families to support children in daily living and academic activities.

Candidates must hold a Master’s in Occupational Therapy with a valid Ohio license (or eligibility) and be able to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Occupational Therapy license or eligible to obtain one.
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans addressing OT needs (fine/gross motor, sensory processing, visual perception, self-care).
• Collaborate with other therapists, teachers, and intervention specialists to develop/implement IEPs.
• Provide counseling and education to families on OT needs.
• Document progress and maintain records.

• Providing counseling and education to families on how to address their child’s occupational therapy needs.
• Documenting progress and maintaining accurate records.
