Job SummaryEDU-AIDs is seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ physical abilities, including assessments of physiology and anatomy knowledge relevant to pediatric care, as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized goals and objectives focused on improving mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and child study team.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP compliance.
- Participate in professional development and training as required.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications- Valid licensure or certification as a licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings.
- Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community members.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
