Position Overview

Ensures that occupational therapy services are administered and completed in a timely, accurate, and reliable manner. Provides occupational therapy patient evaluations and treatments for inpatient and/or outpatient services, as well as associated clinical documentation. Maintains specific service delivery standards addressing commitment to service, customer satisfaction, ongoing evaluation of customer expectations, integration with quality processes, communication and interaction standards, turn‑around time, information processing standards, corporate compliance requirements, and physical amenities/environment of care.

Qualifications & Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy with a bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.
• Clinical experience in a hospital‑based setting preferred.

Licensing & Certification

• NYS occupational therapist license or eligibility to be licensed.
• CPR certification required within first 3 months of employment.
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification preferred.
