Job summary

Excelsior Care Group in Briarcliff Manor, NY is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our rehab team. You will evaluate residents, develop personalized treatment plans, and work with a supportive multidisciplinary group to restore independence and improve quality of life.

You’ll deliver evidence-based interventions, monitor progress, and maintain thorough documentation while upholding confidentiality and compassionate patient care in a facility-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OT program
• Current New York OT license
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to residents’ functional goals.
• Implement engaging, evidence-based interventions to promote independence in daily living activities.
• Monitor and document residents’ progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Support the rehabilitation of residents recovering from illness, injury, or disability.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and safeguard resident confidentiality.
• Promote a positive and respectful environment aligned with our mission of compassionate care.

Position: Occupational Therapist

Location: Briarcliff Manor, New York

Shift: Full Time 9am-5pm

Salary: $45-$55 per hour (based on experience)
