Excelsior Care Group's Briarcliff Manor Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care in Briarcliff Manor, NY, is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the team full-time. You will assist with resident evaluations, participate in treatment plans, support ADLs, and help residents regain independence through personalized therapy.

Candidates must hold a NY State COTA license; experience with Net Health is a plus; prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience is

• Experience using Net Health software preferred.
• Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist with resident evaluations and development of treatment plans.
• Support residents in ADLs and therapeutic exercises.
• Help residents work toward rehabilitation and independence goals.
• Monitor, document, and report resident progress and responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with regulatory standards.

Location: Briarcliff Manor, New York
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay Rate: Up to $40.00 per hour

About the Role

Briarcliff Manor Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in helping residents regain independence, improve daily functioning, and enhance their overall quality of life through supportive and personalized occupational therapy services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist with resident evaluations and the implementation of individualized treatment plans
• Support residents in performing activities of daily living (ADLs) and therapeutic exercises
• Help residents work toward rehabilitation and functional independence goals
• Monitor, document, and report resident progress and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure the highest quality outcomes
• Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with all regulatory and facility standards

Requirements
