Responsibilities

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Assess residents functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs
• Implement therapeutic interventions focused on improving daily living skills, mobility, and cognitive function
• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) management systems to document progress and coordinate care
• Conduct wound care management and hyperbaric medicine treatments as required
• Engage with residents via telehealth platforms to provide remote therapy sessions when appropriate
• Educate residents, families, and staff on behavioral interventions, safety procedures, and adaptive techniques
• Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards, basic life support (BLS), and CPR protocols during all patient interactions

Requirements

• Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction
• Proven experience working with culturally diverse communities to deliver inclusive care
• Strong knowledge of patient treatment planning, wound care, and behavioral interventions
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) management systems and telehealth platforms
• Certification in basic life support (BLS) and CPR is required
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with residents and families
• Knowledge of hyperbaric medicine is a plus but not mandatory
