Job summary

Madison Pointe Care Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a full-time role in Florida. You will provide skilled OT services to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting, performing assessments, treatments, and goal development to maximize independence.

• Valid Florida professional license as an Occupational Therapist.
• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Knowledge of PDPM and LTC OT scope of practice.
• Ability to learn Net Health and PointClickCare systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled Occupational therapy to residents, including assessments, treatments, and goal development.
• Document patient interactions and outcomes clearly.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for resident care.
• Promote a warm, empathetic environment for residents.
• Participate in quality improvement to enhance resident outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled Occupational therapy to residents, including assessments, treatments, and goal development
• Document all patient interactions and outcomes in a clear and concise manner
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive resident care
• Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude, promoting a warm and caring environment
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve resident outcomes and care

Requirements:

• Valid Florida professional license as an Occupational Therapist
• Accepting new and seasoned therapists
• Must have a degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Must be knowledgeable of PDPM, LTC programing and OT scope of practice
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate Net Health and Point Click Care
