Job summary

U.S. Army Occupational Therapists deliver advanced care to Soldiers and their families, applying the latest technology within a multidisciplinary health care team.

As an Army OT, you will develop individualized treatment plans, perform unit assessments, and participate in ongoing training and humanitarian missions while serving Active Duty or Army Reserve.

Qualifications

• Must have a masters or doctoral degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist program.
• Must hold NBCOT certification and an active state license.
• Be between the ages of 18 and 42; waivers on a case-by-case basis.
• Must be a U.S. citizen to serve Active Duty.
• Must have permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve.

Responsibilities

• Administer assessments of battlefield units to determine health statuses.
• Participate in continued education programs, seminars and conferences to broaden clinical skills.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must have a master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist program
• Must have an active, unrestricted National Board for the Certification of Occupational Therapists (NBCOT) and an active, unrestricted state license
