Job summary

Army Healthcare in the United States is seeking an experienced Occupational Medicine Officer to promote Soldier health and wellness. You will plan and supervise occupational health programs, helping maintain fitness and prevent injury across the force.

Active Duty or Army Reserve options, competitive benefits, and opportunities to support humanitarian missions are available. A medical license in the U.S. and board eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. school.
• Must have a medical license to practice in the United States (including DC or Puerto Rico).
• Must be eligible for board certification.
• Must be between 21 and 42 years of age.

• Plan, coordinate, direct and supervise occupational health programs for Soldiers and civilian personnel.

Army Occupational Medicine Officers determine the status of conditions influencing health of Soldiers and civilian personnel, as well as formulating and recommending measures for health improvements. As an Occupational Medicine Officer, you will plan, coordinate, direct and supervise occupational health programs designed to maintain health, improve physical fitness, and prevent disease and injury across the force.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must have a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. School
• Foreign graduates may apply if they have a permanent certificate from the Educational Commission of Foreign Medical Graduates
• Must have license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
• Must be eligibility for board certification
• Must be between 21 and 42 years of age
