Qualifications

• Current California Board of Occupational Therapy license or eligibility pending in CA.
• Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy with CA OT license or eligibility pending.
• Ability to build rapport with staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive and collaborative demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct Occupational Therapy services and implement IEP treatment plan.
• Supervise a COTA if needed.
• Document and store treatment plans and progress reports.
• Update student progress reports.
• Implement and document therapeutic interventions and provide feedback to SPED team and COTA on student progress.
• Attend training, collaborate with SPED teachers/specialists and GE staff.

Responsibilities

• Implement direct Occupational Therapy services and implement IEP treatment plan.
• If needed, supervision of a COTA.
• Document and store treatment plans and progress reports.
• Update student progress reports.
• Implement and document the therapeutic interventions and provide feedback to the special education team and COTA on the student's progress during treatment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Attend training as requested, collaborate, and provide support to other SPED teachers/specialists as well as GE staff.
